COMSEP 2022 Leadership Election

There are 3 leadership positions for the 2022 election: Treasurer, Executive Committee Member-at-Large, and Nominations & Awards Committee.

Duties of Treasurer:

• • Serves a three-year term (2022-2025)
  • Present a proposed budget annually to the Executive Committee for the following fiscal year.
  • Monitor income and expenditures throughout each fiscal year and reconcile year-end financial reports with the approved budget.
  • Meets in person twice annually with the Executive Committee
  • Participates in monthly conference calls of the Executive Committee

Duties of the Member-at-Large:

• • Serves a three-year term (2022-2025) as one of seven at large members of the executive committee
  • Meets in person twice annually with the Executive Committee
  • Participates in monthly conference calls of the Executive Committee
  • Completes tasks as requested by the President

Duties of Nominations & Awards Committee:

• • Serves a two-year term (2022-2025) as one of three members of the Nominations and Awards Committee, which is chaired by the Past President
  • Collects nominations for elected positions, reviews nomination packets, proposes and finalizes the election slate with input from the President
  • Conducts the election and announces the winners
  • Collects nominations for awards, reviews the nomination packets, selects the winners
