How many times have you had 4th year medical students ask you about additional educational opportunities during their 4th year that will enhance their foundational knowledge, skills and attitudes as they prepare for interviews and in entering residency? How often do you wish you had an extra set of hands while running educational sessions during the clerkship and beyond? We will discuss the role of a 4th year medical student chief, and how you could leverage this role at your institution to the benefit of both your educational program and the 4th year students.
Objectives:
The second in a series of COMSEP Virtual Grand Rounds, these will be ongoing offerings to continue to engage our members outside of the Annual Meeting, help contribute to our professional development and stimulate ideas for scholarship and collaboration for the medical education community. These are open not only to COMSEP members; we plan on sending invites to our med ed colleagues: APPD, CoPS, AAP, APA, ABP, ACE, AMSPDC and others, to join us too, so we can learn from each other.
