Pre-Clerkship and Clinical Skills Collaborative - The goals of the Pre-Clerkship and Clinical Skills Collaborative are to discuss, develop, and share new ideas, best practices, and resources relevant to pediatric content in the pre-clerkship phase and clinical skills teaching relevant to pediatrics (with a focus on clinical skills teaching in the pre-clerkship phase). Ongoing projects include developing and sharing resources on pre-clinical pediatric education and exposures, creating and sharing a job description for a pediatric discipline director role, and embarking on a scholarly project to define priorities for pediatric curricular content in the pre-clerkship phase. We collaborate with other COMSEP collaboratives and external groups on this work and work as a group to develop workshops for national meetings and scholarly projects relevant to pre-clerkship and clinical skills.
